“The best things in life aren’t things” became my personal philosophy after the unexpected passing of my father. After his death; I coincidentally discovered yoga. I began practicing more frequently and really enjoyed the physical and mental changes that were happening to my body. My yoga practice allowed me to look within, and to discover myself – something that I had never reflected on before.

My philosophy, “The best things in life aren’t things” then took a different meaning after the birth of my daughter, Chelsie, and strengthened even further after the birth of my second daughter, Ashlyn.

I decided I was ready to become an instructor. I knew that because I work full time, and I am a mom; that I could motivate and inspire people to take time for themselves – to nurture and strengthen their body, mind, and soul.

As an RYT200, my focus as an instructor is to challenge the strength of the body, and push those limits to the fullest, without over working what our bodies are capable of. My greatest pleasure comes from helping students see their fullest potential and gaining more confidence in their yoga practice.
